i love the serenity that yoga brings. it truly is a mind, body, and soul experience unlike any other. I completely understand  your struggle. before i started doing yoga i wasn’t flexible as well. but the beauty of yoga is that the more you do it the better you get at it. yoga itself enables you to do yoga if you keep your mind and heart open and committed to the journey. so keep practicing on a regular basis. stretches should NOT be painful. before you get into stretches, especially the deeper ones, make sure that you’re fully warmed up first. get a good amount of sun salutations in. let me know how it goes
